2015

The birth of the company

The company was founded based on Dario De Pascale's idea to follow his grandfather's passion for viticulture together with his friend and partner Roberto Fracassetti.

2017

The wines produced

The first bottles produced from the old vineyards of his grandfather, Minutolo and Ottavianello, with the collaboration of oenologist Valentino Ciarla.

2018

The Doc Ostuni

The planting of new native grape varieties, DOC Ostuni Ottavianello and DOC Ostuni Bianco, and the arrival of oenologist Gloria Battista at the winery.

2019

The Reserve

Production of the first reserves and the first sparkling wine using the ancestral method

2021

A new beginning

The first Amalberga shop opens in the historic centre of Ostuni, along with the AMA CHILOMETROZERO restaurant.

2022

The Winery

Start of work on the construction of the cellar and entry of member Roberto Candia

2023

A new flavour

The first vinification in the underground cellar and restoration of old Verdeca, Primitivo and Negroamaro vineyards

2024

A new home

Completion and development of the reception area on the ground floor of the winery, with the AMA CHILOMETROZERO country restaurant, the AMA DOPOLAVORO wine bar and the company shop.

We focus on the territory

Today, through our project and our wines, through work in the cellar that focuses on high-quality production and the interpretation of a terroir that characterises the wine with distinctive nuances and sensory experiences, we aim to promote and enhance this area so that it takes its rightful place in the regional wine scene.

We aim to relaunch the OSTUNI DOC, a designation that remains unexpressed despite being 50 years old, and to preserve the Apulian tradition with organic, authentic and contemporary wines.

From the outset, we have adopted an approach that respects the land, using good agricultural practices, recovering process and rainwater, reusing production waste, improving thermal efficiency and conserving soil.

Founding Partner

An agricultural entrepreneur with strong ties to the local area, who has been involved in the Amalberga project for 10 years, from vineyard selection to investment. Amalberga was born from his idea and his project: to make great wines in the Ostuni countryside.

Roberto Fracassetti

Founding Partner

A native of Bergamo, he is an entrepreneur in the textile furnishing industry. He met Dario De Pascale about fifteen years ago. Recognising the potential of Dario's idea, together they laid the foundations for the Amalberga project.

Roberto Candia

Partner

An entrepreneur in the furniture industry with a multitude of interests, he recently joined the Amalberga project, bringing with him enthusiasm, taste and a great passion for Ostuni and the Apulia region.
